The team event was a fruitful hunting group for Guernsey at the WDF World Cup in Denmark.
On the second day of the competition, the island’s Ladies were in group stage action in the team event.
Each member played a single leg shoot out in a round robin format, with the winning team the first to nine legs.
They picked up victories against Bulgaria (9-6) and Turks and Caicos (9-4) to secure fourth spot, also putting up a good fight against group winners Scotland, where they eventually fell 3-9 but had held the scores level in the early stages.
Caroline La Touche, Debbie Hamon, Yvonne Le Gallic and Tracy Ingrouille were representing Guernsey.
The men were in singles action.
Lee Savident lost 1-4 to Odkuhuu Khundaganai; Chris Hamon went down 1-4 to Daniel McDonald and Keiran Queripel 1-4 to Marcus Maier.
Kyle Hutchinson had a bye in the first round, but then was defeated by Sumit Rakshit (2-4).
The competition continues today with the men's team event and ladies pairs.
