Guernsey Arts are proud to present a display of extraordinary snapshots of wildlife found in the Bailiwick, hosted in our Greenhouse Gallery within Candie Museum.

The exhibition features the work of over 60 local wildlife photographers, giving viewers a unique insight into the vibrant world usually missed by the naked eye.

This year's guest judge is the talented Barry Wells, who also features with his intricate insect macro photography.

This year's exhibition also has the benefit of ‘Navilens’, an exciting new technology that will work to ensure our exhibitions are as accessible as possible. Navilens is a free, downloadable app that can be used to scan codes throughout the exhibition - this then translates visual elements into audio descriptions.

Wildlife Photographer of the Year Exhibition 2024

Accompanying the Bailiwick Wildlife Exhibition is the world-renowned ‘Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2024’ exhibition, displayed just across the foyer in the Brian White Gallery.

On loan from the iconic Natural History Museum in London, the exhibition features exceptional images which capture fascinating animal behaviour, spectacular species and the breath-taking diversity of the natural world.

“Wildlife Photographer of the Year is the most prestigious photography event of its kind, providing a global platform that showcases some of the best photography talent from around the world.”

This stunning exhibition is running from 26 January until 7 April, and is open daily between 10:00 and 16:00. Tickets are obtainable from the front desk of the Guernsey Museum and Art Gallery at Candie, or come free with the Discovery pass.
