A large commercial company is seeking a HR Assistant to join their HR team to report directly to the Senior HR Practitioner.
Key duties:Work closely with the Senior HR Practitioner/HR Manager to support recruitment campaignsResponsible for ensuring the corporate website is up to date with current jobsOrganise recruitment and selection including advertising, short listing applicants and interviewsManage the recruitment inbox and respond to candidates in a timely mannerPrepare the offer documentation for new joiners, and complete the required pre-employment screeningInitiate the new hire checklist and process in a timely manner ensuring all new starter information is entered onto the relevant systemsIssue employment contracts to new starters across the Group through a mail mergeWork closely with the Managers to support them with any related staff contractual or recruitment requirementsEnsure all employee files are maintained with appropriate security taken for all HR-related informationPrepare employee letters in relation to change in terms and conditionsDraft ad hoc employee letters with direction from HR Manager/Senior HR Practitioner
Skills/Competencies required for this role:Hold a CIPD Level 3 Foundation qualificationExceptional record management skillsExcellent written and interpersonal skillsBasic knowledge of employment lawExcellent organizational skillsAbility to work to deadlines and juggle a varied and very busy workloadExcellent attention to detail with a good level of numeracyClear and logical thinking approachUnderstand the requirements of handling confidential and sensitive information
