Our client is seeking an experienced Trust Accountant to join their Trust Accounting Team on a temporary basis for the period of 6 months. This role involves the preparation and review of financial statements, bookkeeping, regulatory reporting, and quality assurance processes. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of high-quality outputs and support efficiency improvements within the team. Click here to read more Job Duties: Prepare financial statements and additional reporting for a small number of mandates, including financial information for regulatory and audit purposes. Perform bookkeeping and ledger reconciliation as required. Conduct quality control reviews of financial statements prepared by Guernsey and India accounting teams, identifying areas for quality improvement. Supervise workstreams related to internal and external tax and regulatory reporting, ensuring the accuracy of information provided to regulators. Job Requirements: Minimum of 5 years experience in an accounting role, ideally within a fiduciary, accounting, or audit practice environment. Strong accounting and bookkeeping knowledge, supported by an accounting qualification (e.g., CAT, ACCA, CA, or similar). Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word. Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and collaborate effectively within a team. Excellent written, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented, with the ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgement.
