This is a pivotal role for the business and will lead the provision of excellent client service in all aspects of the fund accounting and financial reporting duties, as both an ambassador for the business and a point of leadership within it, and provide invaluable support across all operational areas of the business as a subject-matter expert.
Working as part of the Senior Management Team responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of the business, the Roleholder will be able to demonstrate a good background of working in the financial reporting arena at a senior level and the capability to work hands-on within the operational team to offer timely, robust and professional solutions for clients whilst working within accepted reporting frameworks and relevant guidance.
The Roleholder will be capable of managing their own workload and that of a team of people, including working with direct reports based otherwise than in Guernsey. The Roleholder must also be able to work with people at all levels of the business in a constructive and confident manner, building trust across all levels of the business.
The Roleholder will have developed a robust reputation amongst audit firms and intermediaries and work well with both auditors and clients to lead and manage reporting cycles in such a way that instils confidence in clients and their service providers.
