St Martins AC targeted again by mindless vandalism

Thursday 19 August 2021

Vandals have damaged St Martins AC's facilities for the third time this year.

Goalposts used by all age groups - including younger children - have been destroyed by vandals, the sprinkler system has been broken and bins have been filled with water.

It is believed to have happened overnight on Tuesday/Wednesday this week.

“This is now the 3rd time this year and appeal to anybody that may have seen or heard anything after[Tuesday] night’s Martinez Trophy fixture,” said a club statement.

“It is hugely upsetting that such reckless damage has occurred and has been reported to the Police.”
