Police looking for North Beach vandals

Monday 29 June 2020

Police are appealing for witnesses who can help them to track down the vandals who trashed the North Beach toilets on the first night that lockdown restrictions were lifted.

The cubicle doors of the gents toilets were ripped off their hinges sometime on the night of Saturday 20 June or the early hours of the following morning.

The toilets were unlocked at the time for public use, at which time a vandal or vandals went inside and damaged the cubicle doors and frames. The doors were found discarded on the toilet floor the next day.

Police are yet to track down those responsible and are appealing for information.

Any information should be given to PC 115 Blondel at the Guernsey Police on 725111 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
