New parcel collection service at the library

Tuesday 02 July 2024

People can now divert their parcels to the Guille-Allès Library for collection.

Guernsey Post has teamed up with the town library to expand its EBOX parcel Servies, with a counter now installed there.

This is in addition to free collection counters at the tourist information centre and Envoy House.

The new location will be open between 10:00 and 17:30 on Mondays, Wednesday and Friday, until 21:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays coinciding with night library services and on Saturdays until 17:15.

Cassy Fish, Head of Commercial at Guernsey Post, said: “This location is not only central but also a well-known and frequented community hub, making it an ideal spot for our customers to pick up their EBOX parcels”.

Adam Bayfield, Head of Marketing and Customer Services at Guille-Allès Library added: “As well as promoting books and reading, libraries are safe and accessible spaces for the whole community. By hosting this EBOX collection point, we hope to give people a convenient way to pick up their parcels, and also provide them with another reason to visit and make the most of the huge range of services available here”.
