A quantity of meat is among the items stolen from the Pandora Hotel in St Peter Port in the early hours of Saturday.

Guernsey Police said the hotel; towards the top of Hauteville, was broken into sometime between 00:00 and 05:30 on 14 July.

It's believed the alleged thief entered the Pandora Hotel, Hauteville before taking a number of items from the kitchen and bar.

Among the stolen items are a "quantity of meat" valued at around £125 and "several bottles of alcohol" valued at £105.

Guernsey Police are investigating the alleged break in and theft. Witnesses should call the police station on 725111 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
