A 29-year-old man has been charged with killing father and son Dean and Charlie Lowe through dangerous driving in Grouville, Jersey last year, as well as a number of drugs offences.

The fatal road traffic collision took place on La Rue de Fauvic in August 2023.

Police confirmed this morning that Dylan John Pounds had been charged with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving in relation to the incident, failing to stop and report an accident, holding a mobile phone whilst driving and possession of a Class B controlled drug.

He has also been charged with two separate counts of being involved in supply Class A and B drugs.

Mr Pounds is due to appear in court on 8 February.

He is currently subject to Conditional Centenier Bail.
