Guernsey FC Women are through to the final of the Jersey Women’s FA Cup.
They came from behind to beat Jersey Wanderers 4-2 after extra time. The game was locked at 2-2 after the regulation period.
A hat-trick from Calleigh Hedley and a first club goal for Vicki Rang saw the Green Lionesses through.
The hosts took the lead on 26 minutes as Sofia Rodrigues created space for a shot that bounced awkwardly in front of Kayleigh Marquis before finding the back of the net.
The Green Lionesses were level on 39 minutes.
Candice Bougourd lobbed a ball from just inside her own half into the path of Hedley, who drove on despite the close attention of three defenders and thumped the ball high into the net.
Hedley bagged her brace within three minutes of the restart, intercepting a loose pass on the edge of the area and placing the ball into the far corner from the angle.
There was not much Marquis could do about Rodrigues' stunning equaliser, curling a free-kick just under the crossbar from 25 yards after 57 minutes.
The experienced Rang put Guernsey back in front five minutes into the second half of extra-time. The centre-back got free at the far post to nod home a corner.
Hedley completed her hat-trick in the final minute of extra time, scoring in the far corner from the angle to seal the win.
