The Flying Christine III was launched by HRH The Duke of Gloucester back in 1994, and is celebrating its 30th birthday today.
Since then the vessel has completed over 1,300 missions, and been a vital lifeline for the community across the Bailiwick.
She has been instrumental in saving countless lives and there's even been a birth on board.
To mark the special occasion, an event is being held at the Guernsey Yacht Club this evening, to celebrate the vessel’s milestone, and the dedication of the volunteer crew members.
