Guernsey's ambulance service responded to 20 calls in 24 hours over the weekend, including dispatching The Flying Christine III, attending road traffic collisions and treating traumatic injuries.
The St John Marine Ambulance was requested by the Herm Community First Responder on Saturday for a patient at Belvoir Bay. The ambulance crew arrived at Rosaire Steps just before 20:00 and were taken to Belvoir Bay in the island’s all-terrain vehicle.
Crew assessed the patient and provided initial treatment before making the return to St Peter Port. On arrival in Guernsey, the patient was transferred to a waiting ambulance and taken to the Emergency Department at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital.
St John said it wished to thank the volunteer boat crew of the Flying Christine who attended the incident.

Earlier on Saturday evening, the Emergency Ambulance Service was deployed to a two-car road traffic collision in La Fosse de Haut in St Martin's. A double-crewed ambulance and ambulance officer attended, along with the police and fire services.
One person was taken to hospital by ambulance for further assessment after the collision.
The ambulance service responded to 20 calls in 24 hours, which included medical cases, falls, traumatic injuries, and another road traffic incident involving two cyclists at L’Ancresse.
Off-duty staff were called back to work on three occasions to maintain resilience for the island.
