An adult has been taken to hospital after an accident involving a pedestrian and a car at a junction along Braye Road.
Guernsey Police and St John Ambulance & Rescue Service were called to the junction with Lowlands Road in the Vale shortly after 19:00 last night.
The incident was described as a "vehicle vs pedestrian RTC" and other motorists were asked to avoid the area while the matter was dealt with.
One of the people involved had to be taken to the Emergency Department at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.
A spokesman for St John confirmed that patient was an adult.
