Wednesday 05 December 2018

Law firm Ferbrache & Farrell has said it was delighted with the recognition it received following its first submissions in the latest editions of the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners legal directories.

The directories collect feedback from clients and industry professionals, together with analysis of a legal practice’s key cases and deals.

The firm's corporate team was recognised as an "excellent team" that is "clearly of a high standard" and which was praised by clients for response and follow up times. The team was also recognised in the investment fund category with praise for being "very thorough and responsive" with "excellent knowledge of legal and regulatory issues."

There was individual recognition for senior corporate team members Gavin Farrell and Senior Associate Natalie Le Cras  in the corporate and M&A and investment funds categories. Mr Farrell was named as a "leading individual" and clients praised him as "the number one in the Channel Islands for his communication skills, commercial awareness and proactive attitude."

There was individual praise for Head of Dispute Resolution Martin Jones for being "technically competent, client-concerned, serious and punctual" and for the "noteworthy" Peter Ferbrache.

Counsel Adam Cole was also highlighted as a next generation lawyer and praised for being "commercially astute." There was also recognition for Mr Cole as the only "associate to watch" in the Guernsey Dispute Resolution market.

Managing Partner, Alastair Hargreaves commented: “These excellent results demonstrate that we are achieving the client service we set out to provide. Such positive feedback from our clients and the recognition of key individuals is testament to the hard work and dedication within the firm. I very much look forward to us building on these solid foundations in 2019."
