“We’ve had some fantastic events so far”

Friday 26 April 2024

The Guernsey Literary Festival is well underway, and its Director said it has been “fantastic” so far.

Last night [25 April] saw one of the bigger names take to the stage at St James, with celebrity chef Michel Roux speaking at a sold out event.

There are still 80 more events left between now and 5 May.

“We’re really looking forward to the next few weeks,” said Claire Allen, who said it has been brilliant so far.

There have also been talks from local authors on their road to publication, and Andrew Doyle his book Reinvention Island.

The events are taking place in several venues, including Les Cotils, St Pierre Park and the Guilles-Alles Library.

You can find out more about the event ONLINE.

The festival organisers continue to share the latest from the festival on its Twitter page:
