Skipton International has won the ‘Offshore Account Provider of the Year’ trophy in the Moneyfacts Consumer Awards 2022, marking it out as a forerunner in offshore banking.

The independent Moneyfacts Consumer Awards combines over 30 years of Moneyfacts’ expertise with the opinions of the customer, giving over a hundred thousand customers a voice. The results enable Moneyfacts to distinguish companies that offer great products alongside excellent customer service.

The bank was up against stiff competition, including Barclays Bank, HSBC, Santander International, Lloyds Bank International, and NatWest International.

Nigel Pascoe, Skipton’s Business Development Director, said: “The Moneyfacts Consumer Awards are the pinnacle of banking awards, in that we know we have won thanks to the support and nominations from our customers.

“Winning this award is a recognition of the consistently high levels of service, and long-term stable rates we offer our savings customers. Offshore accounts are an integral part of our offering; we look after the savings of Channel Islanders, people from the Isle of Man, along with British expats from more than 100 countries around the world.

“As a Channel Island-registered bank we are committed to giving customers from the Channel Islands, and beyond, the best personal service and to making the process of opening offshore savings account as straightforward as possible.

“Skipton offers a range of offshore savings accounts including Easy Access and Fixed Rate accounts, to Crown Dependency residents and British expats around the world.

“Personal service will remain the forefront of our business and we will continue to support our team members through the training and development necessary to deliver the excellent service our customers deserve.”
