Saffery Summer Internship comes to an end

Tuesday 29 August 2023

Several students have learned valuable skills and understanding in accounting, cryptocurrency and digital assets via a summer internship with Saffery Champness.

The paid internship was available to anyone over 16 and Kate Bain, Thomas Penney, Freya Tardif and Chelsey Vaudin took part in the four week placement this year.

“I applied for the internship as I was hoping to get more of an idea about what I wanted to do for work,” said Chelsey.

“I liked the idea of getting to have an insight into different areas within a business and seeing what could suit me.”

The students were described as enthusiastic and engaged by Managing Director at Saffery, Nick Batiste.

“We will look to continue the internship in the future, as it was a valuable experience not only for the students, but also for our people, to continue to be successful we must continue to listen, and we welcome the valuable insights and experiences Kate, Tom, Freya, and Chelsey have brought to the internship,” he said.

I wish them all the best for their next steps.”
