Ogier's private wealth team gets global recognition

Ogier's services to wealthy clients have been recognised by an independent guide to the world's leading specialists.

According to Chambers High Net Worth, Ogier is "an obvious choice for high-value trust work" and its Guernsey Private Wealth team is led by a highly-ranked private client lawyer.

Chambers HNW places Advocate Gavin Ferguson in Band 1 alongside only one other Guernsey lawyer, noting he is "a widely admired private wealth practitioner".

Chambers interviewees say Mr Ferguson is "a very good lawyer" with "a very good reputation" and "well known for being great with clients".

Alongside Mr Ferguson, Senior Associate Alice Bricogne, who has a broad array of expertise in offshore trust and private wealth matters, is named as a "rising star" who is "strong on contentious matters".

Mr Ferguson, who is Head of Ogier's Private Wealth team in Guernsey, said it was pleasing to see his team's work earn recognition.
