Independent financial services company, Cherry Godfrey has bought NRM Financial Limited (Priory Mortgage Advice), a small company offering mortgage and life Insurance advice, across the Isle of Wight and the south coast of England.
As part of its 5-year strategic growth plan, Cherry Godfrey said this acquisition will allow it to offer the same suite of products across all four of its jurisdictions in Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Man and now on the Isle of Wight.
Cherry Godfrey opened its office on the island over two years ago and said this acquisition is the first step in its plans to grow its business in the Isle of Wight.
COO Tanzy Cherry said customers there will be able to take advantage of the wider selection of products that it offers in the three Crown Dependencies too.
“With a similar passion for going above and beyond in terms of customer service, the team at Priory Mortgage Advice are perfectly aligned with our ethos and family values that we have stood by since our inception, and we are very pleased to be welcoming them to the Cherry Godfrey team on the Isle of Wight," she said.
"This acquisition is a great opportunity for us to expand our services and grow our presence on the Isle of Wight, and we are very much looking forward to continue providing our customers with the same excellent service they have come to expect from the team at Cherry Godfrey, with even more products on offer."
