Guernsey Raiders play their first home game of the season tomorrow looking to overturn last season’s results against Sevenoaks.
Raiders were held to a home draw and lost away against a side that eventually finished two places below them in National League 2 East.
The sides had contrasting experiences in the opening games of this season, Raiders falling to an action packed 43-33 loss at Henley Hawks, while Sevenoaks edged a 23-22 thriller against Canterbury.
“It’s a game that we definitely want to attack and get five points out of it. It was disappointing last season,” said Raiders’ Lewis Hillier.
Raiders are bedding in four new signings this season.
“They’re really good lads, real good players as well, it will be exciting to see how they develop throughout this season.”
The game kicks off at 2pm at Footes Lane, with the club’s Rugby World Cup Fan Zone also in operation, with all the day's games being shown in the bar, starting with Italy against Namibia at noon.
England v Argentina is at 8pm.
