Maya Le Tissier was at the heart of two goals as Manchester United Women booked their place in the quarter finals of the League Cup.
They beat Newcastle 5-3 in their final group game last night.
Their opening goal came with less than ten minutes gone.
Le Tissier floated in a corner which was turned into her own net by Newcastle's Lia Cataldo. Deanna Cooper's strike cancelled out that advantage not long after.
With 20 minutes gone United won the ball high up the pitch and Le Tissier slotted a pass through to Emma Watson who gave the home side the lead again with her debut for the club.
Just after halftime Newcastle were level again through Amy Andrews, but United pulled away with goals from Rachel Williams, Gabby George and Elisabeth Terland.
The Magpies got a late consultation when Lois Joel scored.
It means United have won all three of their group games. The draw for the quarter finals take place the week commencing 16 December.
