Drew Jonkmans and James Le Gallez’s efforts to conquer one of the toughest races in the world are continuing.
The Marathon des Sables has entered its third stage, which covers 85.3km.
Both Jonkmans and Le Gallez are raising money for local charities.
The race started on Sunday with a 31.1km stage while yesterday's covered 40.8km.
Jonkman's cumulative time for the opening two was 10:35.28 (4:08.27 on day one), while Le Gallez has taken 12:49.16 so far (4:49.53 on day one).
It is the 38th edition of the Marathon des Sables which will cover a total of 252.8km in the Moroccan Sahara desert.
