Black Rock Combat Sports has announced its Charity Fightathon.
Scheduled to kick off at 18:00 on Friday 13 October, the event will test the endurance and dedication of participants as they engage in martial arts activities non-stop for 24 hours.
Half of the proceeds will be donated to the Guernsey Alzheimer’s Association, which is dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by the disease and advancing research efforts.

The other 50% will be donated to the Black Rock fight team.
“These dedicated local fighters face significant logistical and financial challenges due to Guernsey's remote location, which translates to steep flight and travel expenses.
"These funds will provide invaluable support to the fight team, enabling them to travel and bring opponents to Guernsey, further enhancing their competitive opportunities and representation,” a spokesperson said.
Corporate and private bookings are available as part of the event.
You can book sessions for up to 16 people for an hour at a rate of £120.
Participants can choose from various disciplines, including boxing, kickboxing, MMA, Muay Thai, or Jiu-Jitsu.
