‘Occupied’ has been written and directed by Alex Bates and a trailer has been released ahead of its premiere next month.
The film focuses on the White Rock bombing, where German planes bombed Guernsey in 1940, killing 34 people.
Mr Bates, who graduated with First Class Honours from the Northern Film School last year, approached local historians and actors to help fulfil his vision to authentically capture the tomato truck bombing at the White Rock on 28 June 1940.
The short film is around half an hour and will be shown on 13 May at Beau Sejour. Tickets are going on sale later this week.
