Police are making a further appeal for information after a motorist failed to stop following a road traffic collision along La Villiaze Road.

The collision happened on the road behind the airport at around 07:50 on Friday 7 May.

"The vehicle involved was a Vauxhall Corsa, we are seeking to speak to the driver or owner," said police.

"If anyone has seen someone driving a damaged Vauxhall Corsa or if the driver themselves would like to discuss this matter then please get in touch."

Officers would also like to hear from any body repair shops who may have seen such a damaged car matching that description since 7 May.

"Thankfully nobody was injured as a result of this collision so we are appealing to the driver to come forward and resolve this matter," police added. "Also if you would like your wing mirror back – we’re keeping it safe for you!"

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact PC 95 Jefferies on 222 222 or to contact CrimeStoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
