An unknown male attacked two people outside China Red between Christmas and New Year.
The incident happened at 00:30 on Sunday 27 December while two people were waiting outside the restaurant.
Guernsey Police are looking to speak to anyone who may have seen what happened.
They would especially like to speak to anyone who may be able to identify the unknown assailant. He assaulted a male and a female while they waited outside.
