Tuk Tuk sleighs get free rein under new licence

Wednesday 02 December 2020

Tuk Tuk Guernsey has been granted a licence to offer Christmas-light tours through St Peter Port.

You can book your own motorised sleigh every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday up until the 23 December.

The trip will take you from Albert Pier, through Mill Street, Market Street and Le Pollet. It’ll take 25 minutes in total and give passengers a chance to be driven under the lights in the town centre.

Tuk Tuk Guernsey was launched after the sale of the Petite Train business by owner Tim Bean.

“They’ve got the obligatory tinsel, some holly garlands in the back and we’ve got the lights all over the front," he enthused.

Each Tuk Tuk can carry two passengers and, weather permitting, will have their roofs down to take in Guernsey’s light displays.

You can book a place for a tour on their website.
