Mower missing

Are you missing a lawn mower, because the police have found one.

Yes, you read that right: Guernsey Police are asking people living near the Water Lanes to check their sheds, to see if they are missing a green ride-on lawn mower.

The mower was found in the lanes, and Police have said it wants to return the vehicle to its rightful owner. 

"Please check your outbuildings for any stolen property matching the description," the notice said.

Officers are also now investigating who may have stolen the mower. It asked anyone who may have seen "a group of youths" driving or riding the lawn mower in or around Skins Lane in St Peter Port to get in touch.
