A sunny evening provided the perfect backdrop as Guernsey's Siam Cup winning rugby stars took part in an open training session with Raiders fans watching.
The Guernsey Raiders Open Training Session came as the players prepare for their first matches having won promotion during the 2017/18 season, which also ended with the island's four representative rugby sides each winning their inter insular matches against Jersey on a sunny May day which provided hours of entertainment, followed by days of celebration.

The hard work has resumed though with the Guernsey men getting ready to take on their first opponents since their promotion winning run of last year.
To kick off the 2018/19 season they have a friendly against Macclesfield at Footes Lane on Saturday 11 August. The first game of the season is then away at Old Albanian on 1 September, before the first home match on 8 September.

Last night's open training session saw the Raiders, who Bailiwick Express are proud to sponsor, showing off their skills while demonstrating the hard work they put in each season.
They then had the opportunity to mingle with supporters before posing for photos with the Siam Cup and the Ladies Siam Cup. A bouncy castle had been arranged for younger fans along with a BBQ to keep everyone fuelled.
Director of Rugby Jordan Reynolds said they had wanted to interact with the community, and they succeeded.
"We get some fantastic support from Guernsey so we wanted to bring them down and give them some free food and get them a little in touch with what we do in training and stuff. We want to try and launch one of these each pre-season.
"From the training point of view we like to run a lot of game scenarios and get the guys gelling and working together as much as possible.
"It's a kind of something new that we brought in last year and we had some success with it so we want to keep that rolling through."
