A number of power tools have been stolen from a locked vinery in the Vale, along with petrol which would be used to power them.

Guernsey Police said any witnesses with information in relation to the burglary should contact them.

The items went missing between 16:30 on Thursday 14 May and 08:00 the following morning.

The vinery on Douit Lane was locked but someone managed to enter it and take:

2 x 20litre black petrol cans with yellow lids that contined fuel

1 x green Draper hedge cutter

1 x orange Tanaka hedge cutter, with "stuart" written below the logo

1 x Stihl hedge cutter.

PC 161 Ormrod and PC 129 Babbé are investigating and can be contacted via 725111 or witnesses can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
