The store will be operated by SandpiperCI, who have also opened a franchised Matalan shop in Jersey. 

“We’re delighted to be opening a Matalan store in the heart of St Martin’s," said Clair Sequeira, Sandpiper’s Brand Director said.

"The Guernsey store will offer an extensive range of style, quality and value clothing as well as some brilliantly priced home products.

“More importantly, the Matalan store has created ten new job roles and is a positive announcement in the current difficult retail climate. Earlier this month, we opened a similar store in Jersey which has already exceeded our expectations, we’re expecting Matalan Guernsey to be just as well received.”
