Mice expelled from College of FE

A new furry student body has been expelled from the College of Further Education after failing to meet certain key criteria.

With reports of a 'mouse infestation' at Les Coutanchez, education bosses moved quickly to ban the rodents from the post-16 campus.

The small animals were discovered last week, and although Express was told there was an 'infestation', the Committee for Education, Sport and Culture said it wasn't that bad.

Work started to remove the mice as soon as they were found during routine maintenance, and steps were taken to ensure the rodents don't return to make their home at the post-16 site once again.

ESC said: "As with any large buildings, there can be mice present from time to time.

"As part of our routine cleaning and estate management, evidence of mice was spotted at Les Coutanchez campus and appropriate action was taken immediately."
