Maya Le Tissier was once again one of Manchester United’s top performers as they beat Crystal Palace in the WSL.
The United captain played the whole match meaning she has not missed a minute of action for her club so far this season.
She was at the heart of a United defence that recorded another clean sheet in the 1-0 win. United's goal came courtesy of Grace Clinton in the dying moments of the first half.
The result leaves United level on points with third-placed Arsenal and one behind Manchester City in second.
It has been a busy run of fixtures for United.
"What people don't realise is that at the end of a three-game week you have that fatigue," said boss Marc Skinner.
"Both teams had that a bit, and you could see it around the league."
United won all three of their games last week, beating Liverpool 4-0 in the WSL and Newcastle 5-3 in the League Cup.
They now have just over a month off.
"We've had three wins this week, which is fantastic and exactly what we asked for going into this break," said Skinner.
"[It is] a great way to leave ourselves poised to go and attack the start of the new year."
United play Manchester City on 19 January.
Meanwhile, the draw for Euro 2025 has landed England in the "group of death" with games against France, Netherlands and Wales.
England's first game against France is on 5 July, before they play Netherlands on 9 July and Wales on 13 July.
Le Tissier has been looking to cement her place with the Lionesses having now made seven appearances.
