Guernsey FC Women get home cup tie

Guernsey FC Women will have their first game of the season on home soil in February as Sutton United Women visit for the third round of the Combined Counties Women's Cup.

The Green Lionesses received a bye in the first round of the competition and were due to face Haywards Heath Town in the second round in November, but those opponents pulled out of the competition.

Anna Gauvain's side lost 1-0 to Crawley Town in the second round last season, in what was only their third match.

The game will take place on Wednesday 5 February. 

Guernsey FC are also due to continue their Jersey Combination League campaign on Sunday 15 December against third-placed St Peter Women.

The Green Lionesses top the league and are unbeaten in four games, a run which included a 6-0 win against St Peter early in November.
