The Town Weighbridge could soon see a temporary catering trailer positioned outside if planning permission is granted.
The application has been made by CCD Architects on behalf of the Silvester Group, who run the Waffle House from the building.
The trailer, likely to be an Airstream model as pictured above, would be movable and would not touch the building. Its proposed size of 4m x 2.1m x 2.1m.
The business already has an allocated dining area outside the property.
A statement of significance was attached to the application because of the historic protected nature of the building.
St. Julian’s Weighbridge was first registered as protected in May 1973.
