A pirate-themed family fun day is taking place at Sausmarez Manor today.
The Legendary Sausmarez Manor Pirate Day has been organised by the Sausmarez Manor Trust as a fundraiser to help repair a damaged roof.
It was originally due to be held last weekend, but was rearranged after bad weather forced a change to the plans.
Rollo de Sausmarez, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, said there is still going to be plenty for families to do, despite the week long delay.
"There will be an epic treasure hunt, pirate crafts, pirate story tent, living history re-enactments, bouncy castles and train rides, boat rides and a special house tour," he said.
There will also be hot food, local beer & cider, other refreshments and live music, plus prizes for fancy dress - full details are on Facebook.
