Guernsey Post now main place to claim scratch card winnings

Thursday 01 March 2018

Guernsey Post's HQ and the Smith Street branch will now be the main locations for large scratch card prize pay outs.

Most shops that sell scratch cards can cash in winning tickets up to £200, with some able to pay out on larger prizes.

Winning tickets for up to £500 can also be cashed at the Bookstall at the Bus Terminus, and on the Bridge at the Candy Shop or Tozer's Newsagents. The main lottery agents will also pay out on winnings of up to £1,000, and be able to redeem higher amounts if they wish.

From Monday 5 March, Guernsey Post's customer counters will pay out up to £1,000 as well, and the small post office at Waitrose will be able to issue £200 prizes.

Any wins greater than that will be able to be cashed in at the main Post Office reception.

The new arrangements are to replace the Guernsey Information Centre and Beau Sejour as pay-out locations.
