An elderly woman has been rushed to A&E after she was hit by a car at Salerie Corner.
The incident happened around 10:20 this morning, and saw the road blocked.
All three emergency services attended, and diverted traffic away from the area while they took control.
Guernsey Police are now appealing for anyone who saw the incident - particularly those with dash cam footage - to come forward.
The Joint Emergencey Services Control Centre told Express the woman had been taken to hospital after the crash and was currently in the Emergency Department but, at this time, it is not believed that her injuries are serious.
As of 12:30, JESCC said the road was re-opened and traffic would return to normal, but the Fire & Rescue Service were still on scene ensuring everything was made safe.
More to come.
