Condor Ferries has added high speed sailings and changed its freight schedules for this week after the Commodore Clipper needed to be withdrawn from service needing repairs.
A dive investigation last week revealed that the Clipper requires an urgent repair to a seal which is believed to have been damaged by debris entering its engine.
The Condor Voyager will now operate additional sailings between Guernsey, Jersey, and Poole today, Monday 14, and Thursday 17 November.
Freight deliveries will be maintained daily to each island by the Goodwill and the Midas vessel, which Condor still has on charter from when the Goodwill was out of action last month.
The Clipper is expected to return to service on Sunday 20 November.

John Napton, Condor’s CEO, said the situation is frustrating but the company is working hard to minimise any inconvenience.
“This is clearly unfortunate, however, we will do everything possible to limit the impact of this unexpected situation and recognise the inconvenience this may cause,” he said.
“Over the next few days, we will be proactively contacting passengers booked to travel on Clipper and transferring them to alternative sailings and our freight teams will be busy with customers.”
