A fire affecting two of Guernsey's restaurants was successfully dealt with by the island's fire and rescue service, with little disruption to diners.
The emergency services were called to Rosso pizzeria and the restaurant Red after a fire had reportedly broken out in a vent between the two premises.
While the incident was quickly dealt with, the road in front of the two restaurants remained closed for some time while checks were made to ensure everything was safe.
During the emergency response, both facilities remained open with the cocktails flowing in Red as diners continued feasting on pizza and steaks.
No one was hurt in the incident.
