Aurigny is preparing a "pre-recorded online presentation" to give prospective Deputies an insight into how the States-owned airline operates.
The company has come up with the idea as a way of introducing election candidates to the airline's background, some of the challenges it faces and the way the business is run.
“As a States owned airline it is really important that we maintain a good relationship with our shareholders," said Chief Executive Mark Darby.
"We would like the opportunity to provide prospective candidates with information on the airline’s background, its activities and some of the challenges it is facing as it emerges from the Covid crisis.

"It’s vital that our Deputies understand the business and how it runs especially as the airline continually comes under political and public scrutiny.”
Candidates that are standing for election are invited to register to access a pre-recorded online presentation by completing the form on this link:

It would help considerably to understand Aurigny’s challenges if we could see the full accounts without them hiding behind “commercial sensitivity”.

Questions will be reportedly be consolidated and addressed in the presentation. A link to the final document will then be sent out next week to those that have registered.
