Longueville Manor has re-opened today after the hotel’s annual refurbishment. They launch with an exciting "Winter Comforts" theme that will see pampering and indulgence on offer at great value for residents and visitors alike.
The Winter Comforts series will last throughout January and February; Longueville will be lighting the log fires and running a special three-course lunch menu for £25. The menu will feature many of head chef Andrew Baird’s winter recipes, including his popular take on the traditional Jersey Bean Crock, which attracted much media attention in 2014.
This year the hotel will also be making the most of its new boutique spa, The Cottage Garden, and have outlined a series of further investments including a luxury overhaul of their flagship cottage suite. The cottage offers two en-suite bedrooms, a lounge, dining room and kitchen and has become hugely popular with the Manor’s expanding family market. The owners have decided to invest to bring the décor in-line with the rest of the establishment. The work will be finished at the end of February in time for what looks set to be a very busy Spring for the Relais & Châteaux property. Bookings are already up 12% on this time last year.
Malcolm Lewis, Proprietor, Longueville Manor, says: "Jersey can be a bit on the quiet side at the start of the year so we endeavour to bring a bit of warmth to the season. We invite everyone to join us as we light the fires and encourage leisurely lunches and afternoon teas. We look forward to a very ambitious year ahead where we will be investing in the Manor and working on some very innovative promotions and events."
