Opportunities should be seized, not ignored. So when you have the chance to own one of the world’s most sought-after watches of the moment, don’t it slip through your fingers.

On the 24th September 2016 at the Jersey Hospice Ball, you’ll be able to bid on a watch that normally has an infuriatingly long waiting list - and own it straight away. The Rolex Daytona is a cult classic, modelled on the original, owned by Paul Newman who famously wore it on the cover of Vogue. Rolex released the new steel Daytona version with a brand new white or black ceramic dial this year at the Basel World Watch Fair. Since then, the Daytona has become one of the most hotly anticipated and sought after watches of the moment with around a six-month waiting list at retailers around the world.

But now, thanks to Hettich, Jersey’s only approved Rolex retailer, you’ll be able to get your hands on the new Daytona when it goes under the hammer at the Jersey Hospice Ball… and benefit the locally-supported charity all at the same time. Will you be the lucky bidder to leave with a brand new Rolex Daytona on your wrist? Bids will be taken on the night with all the profits going to wholeheartedly support the valuable work Jersey Hospice does.

Jeffrey Chinn, Director of Hettich said: ‘Jersey Hospice Care has been there to support so many of local families through the years. But few realise just how much it costs to provide a service like this. Jersey Hospice Care needs £14,000 a day to run. That’s every day of the year. Without our wholehearted support and the work of more than 500 volunteers and a team of 100 staff, day after day, Jersey Hospice’s vital network of care services and support just wouldn’t exist. We’re delighted to be playing our part to ensure the work of Jersey Hospice can continue, and we hope the lucky bidder will enjoy wearing their new Rolex Daytona, knowing that their purchase has supported a charity at the heart of the island.’

The brand new Rolex Daytona in steel has either a white or black ceramic dial - the model that will be auctioned on the 24th September will the the white dial version. Bidding will only be possible on the night, and only open to eventgoers. To find out more and register your interest, contact Lady Sylvia Gould. The Rolex Daytona will be on display at Hettich until the night of the ball when the lucky bidder will be able to jump the waiting lists and own their brand new watch straight away.
