Estera CEO Farah Ballands has been named as one of the most influential women within the private wealth industry on the prestigious Citywealth’s Leaders List 2016.

Jersey-based Mrs Ballands has been recognised as a ‘power woman’ and one of the top 20 women in the sector on the list, which is put together following recommendations from within the industry and consultation.

Three of her colleagues in Jersey, the Isle of Man and Bermuda are also on this year’s Leaders List, which highlights leading professionals within the industry. The Leaders List  brings together lawyers, accountants, family offices, private bankers and trustees who deal with private clients with fortunes in excess of £20m and often up to several billion.

Estera Managing Partner, Sean Dowling, who is based in the Isle of Man, and Jersey-based Group Director Richard Prosser have been named as prominent industry figures and recognised for their expertise within the trustees field. Bermuda-based Group Director Rory Gorman is on the honours list, and also named because of his trustees experience.

‘To be included on the prestigious Citywealth Leaders List 2016 is a tribute to the hard work and expertise of the Estera team and underlines the kind of service that we offer our clients across all of our jurisdictions. To be personally recognised as a leading figure within the industry in this year’s list is also an honour,’ said Mrs Ballands.
