The Youth Commission are always on the lookout for passionate dedicated people who are interested in becoming Youth Workers.

On Saturday 29 January they are holding a recruitment drive at their Les Ozouets campus. This will give people the chance to drop in between 10 am and 12pm to find out more about the career opportunities we have.

Here are some quotes from our staff:

“I have worked for the YC for 8 years and couldn’t wish for a better place to work. Not only do a feel like I am making a difference to children, young people and their families on a daily basis; I also get to meet amazing volunteers and my role fits perfectly with running around after my young son.”

“One of the most special aspects of being a youth worker to me is building trusting relationships with young people and watching their confidence grow”

The work is incredibly diverse, one day you might be running a youth club and the next you could be kayaking with a group of young people or supporting them through training.

Anyone who wants to find out more about the amazing opportunities we have is welcome to attend the event.
