Toddler Sense charity event and raffle for Guernsey Mind

We are organising a Charity Event & Raffle in aid of Guernsey Mind on Sunday 28th April to celebrate the 2nd Birthday of Toddler Sense and in memory of my late Father who took his own life in March 2022, just a few weeks before I launched the business.

My father helped me fund Baby Sensory back in 2018 and had a big part to play in assisting me with the booking keeping and other administrative duties, leading to the growth of the business and respectively expanding to Toddler Sense in 2022.

I’ve decided to use my business platform to raise awareness around suicide and hopefully raise lots of money for Guernsey Mind.

Although our event is (almost) fully booked, our raffle tickets are now on sale and the response from local businesses and individuals has been overwhelming. With now over 120 fantastic raffle prizes, I hope to sell as many tickets as possible! I have attached a list of prizes we currently have, but we are still seeing prize offers coming in!

Myself, my employee Jo and our Photographer Tracey (from A’Dora’Bubble Photography) will be running our event in our permanent workspace, which is located upstairs at Beau Sejour Leisure Centre from 9:30am-3:30pm. The event offers young children and their parents time slots throughout the day to enjoy free play in our adventure play area, photo opportunities in our ‘bubble booth’ and a professional digital photo taken by Tracey. We will also have several games and competitions for the children to take part in and a donut wall & sweet cart to purchase from, all by a small donation for Guernsey Mind.

We have also set up a Just Giving Page which goes directly to Guernsey Mind for those who wish to donate online. Finally the three of us agreed to each have a ‘Tod’ Toddler Sense tattoo done if we can reach our target of £500 on the page!
