Sure employee James McEwan has qualified as a Certified Enterprise Architect having completed The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) methodology, the global standard in enterprise architecture.

TOGAF is a framework for enterprise architecture that provides a high level approach for designing, planning and implementing technology architecture. The framework was introduced in the early 1990s as the methodology for the development of technical architecture.

Mr. McEwan is Head of Service Value at Sure and has 15 years’ experience in the local IT and telecoms industry. His role involves designing complex business processes for Sure such as mobile number portability and he has recently worked on the roll out of the new 4G network across the Bailiwick.

“Enterprise Architecture enables the design of technical processes and their supporting data and underlying information technology. This qualification will support my role to enable the strategic implementation of IT systems across the business and ensure the efficiency of future IT systems,” said Mr McEwan.

Cyrille Joffre, chief technical and information officer at Sure, said: “James has worked exceptionally hard to achieve this qualification and the methodology is sure to help him in his role.

“Supporting our employees’ professional development is a key part of Sure’s investment in its people and we’d like to congratulate James on his qualification.”
