St Peter Port Douzaine will be hosting its first evening drop-in at Les Cotils on Wednesday 8 December.
The event will take place immediately after the scheduled Parish Meeting to elect a Douzenier and Constable to replace Dennis Le Moignan. It takes place in the Harry Bound Room at 7:30pm.
Members of the Douzaine and representatives of the Pitronnerie Protection Group will be on hand to answer questions about the Pitronnerie planning proposal and other matters pertinent to the parish.
Constable Zoe Lihou said; ‘This will be the first evening drop-in session we have held and we hope parishioners will take the opportunity to attend and voice their thoughts and concerns.
‘In addition to the Pitronnerie planning proposal we will also be addressing matters such as street lighting, rubbish collections and anti-social behaviour. Whilst we won’t necessarily have answers on the night we hope to learn from our parishioners and go away with ideas and tasks for the future.
‘The evening will also provide the public with an opportunity to meet the newly elected Douzeniers and Constable ahead of the New Year.’ The Parish meeting begins at 7:30pm and it is likely that the business of the meeting will conclude by 8pm when the drop-in session will commence. All are welcome to attend and share their views.
We respectfully ask that those attending wear masks and take a lateral flow test prior to this.
