The Sarah Groves Foundation is delighted to have partnered with the Naked Leaf CBD and The House of Green. Naked Leaf CBD products are widely used globally by top sporting professionals for muscle relief, improved recovery times and focus - and so Naked Leaf is a natural fit for such an epic physical and psychological challenge.
The Sarah Groves Foundation’s major fundraising initiatives are derived from the Tour de Sez cycling events.
In September 2021 the fourth cycling event will be taking place and this joint media release represents the formal announcement that the Naked Leaf CBD Company in conjunction with their parent company Guernsey-based The House of Green will be the lead sponsor for that event which, from now on, will be referred to as the Naked Leaf Tour de Sez 2021.
The fourth Tour de Sez will take place in September 2021 and 85 cyclists and 15 support staff will be taking part in what will be known as the Naked Leaf Tour de Sez 2021.
The 100 strong team will embark on a near 2,000 km route that will see them set off from Guernsey, cycling through Europe before finishing in Rome 11 days later. Deputy Marc Leadbeater, a director of The House of Green took part in the last Tour and he will be flying the Naked Leaf flag on this one.

Over the years, the three previous Tours have raised in excess of £350,000 for the Foundation net of all costs; the Naked Leaf Tour de Sez 2021 is expected to raise a further £150,000.
The House of Green is a local company in the process of establishing one of the largest hemp and cannabis extraction facilities in Europe, here in Guernsey. The company is also setting up various growing operations in order to service the extraction facility and working with local growers to establish a growers’ co-operative.
Naked Leaf was already selling CBD products when it joined The House of Green Group in 2019 and currently supplies premium CDB products across the US and UK markets. These products currently contain high quality US oils but, once production commences in Guernsey this summer, the oils will be 100% locally grown and produced throughout the range.
The House of Green Group CEO, Paul Smith said, “Our Group is proud to be helping the Sarah Groves Foundation through the sponsorship of the Naked Leaf Tour de Sez 2021. The SGF is a great local charity doing fantastic work in our community, from kids’ bikes at Christmas to contributing to the redevelopment of the Children’s Library.
“We are a local company with a core theme to bring social and economic improvements to the Bailiwick and we are delighted to be associated with a local charity that has a focus on bringing such great benefits to our community here in the Bailiwick.”
Nathan Whitman, CEO of Naked Leaf, added that, “Our involvement with the Naked Leaf Tour de Sez 2021 as its main sponsor is a fantastic opportunity for us to support the Sarah Groves Foundation and we are delighted that our contribution will go some way to ensuring the success of this ambitious challenge.”
Vic Groves, Managing Trustee of the Sarah Groves Foundation added “Everyone associated with the Tour is delighted to have such a topical and relevant sponsor supporting the riders in the long lead-up to the event itself and, when the big day arrives, to have their support along the way. We are all delighted with the arrangement as agreed”
